pb not loading up...

never had this issue. it has power... it starts.. but acts like its going to load to the desktop but only stays on that blue skrin. i see the familiar gear circle spinning and then it goes from that to the pointer on the screen then back again...over and over.
anyone know what i can do?

anyone? im not versed on trouble shooting this kind of stuff. i forget what to do sometimes. i did the fsck deal... but it didnt respon with it... so i just typed reboot... but still nothing. should i p ram reset?

Did you recently install any RAM or do you have any hardware plugged in? If so remove them. You could also try booting off the OS X disk and repairing permissions through Disk Utility.

yeah.. actually i put in a new harddrive last year.

if you haven't fixed it (I can't tell from that last post)

it COULD be the HD. Run the hardware tests off the disks.
