Hi all,
downloaded the Public Beta of Yosemite the other day and after a few school boy errors i now have a system that has 2 bootable drives, 1 with mavericks 10.9.4 and one with yosemite 10.10.whatever, after passing through the glitches i found my CPU's starting to get warm (60+C) now that alone i know is not an issue but all fans were at idle, there is normally a slight increase but nothing, the IOH Tdiode was at over 80C again i think that is within limits reading other posts on here.
so i decided on a reset of the SMC to see if that effected it but still the same in both OSX's, firstly just wondering if anyone else is having this issue?
and secondly i wondered if there is any other test i can carry out to see if the SMC is defective as the Apple hardware test stalls during pre checks... all really fustrating stuff and im controlling the temps manually with iStat software which isnt ideal.
weird on indeed any ideas or comments would be great.
