PB3 Stuck at verifying

so I updated from PB2 to 3 and I am stuck at verifying. I tried rebooting but my display is stuck and can't move the slider over to power down. how can I safely get around this????

On air 2 I did a hard restart and it worked

Hold down the volume down button and power button until it restarts, this fixed it for me on my iPhone 7.

Yeah...happened to me as well...at an airport out of the country. Not that I couldn't have boarded the plane somehow, but was freaking out a little not having my phone during a flight or getting directions once I landed.

Hard reset after it seemed as though the update was complete (for a while) did the trick. Phone restarted like it should have automatically and the update completed. Did another hard restart after that (as I always do) just to make sure. PB3 has been working great now with no battery/hot phone issues that started cropping up during the days leading up to the latest release
