MP 1,1-5,1 PC ati hd 3850/70 in mac pro 2.1

Will pc version of hd 3850/70 work in osx 10.7.5? i dont care about bootscreen, the only thing i need is working gpu in osx. What versions of those card work, what versions dont, do i need to install aditional drivers/ patching, will that card work in el capitan. those are questions i want to ask.

Maybe yes: from OSX Lion and later, the OS is able to auto-init the drivers without needing a specific framebuffer personality, only "build" based on legacy bios of the card.
