Could be several reasons.
Recent driver updates are not compatible, need to roll back
It could also be that you need to install updated drivers
Running out of memory
Faulty GPU
Try and run an in-game monitor first that shows CPU/GPU/Memory usage while playing and see if anything is going wrong during play. Running out of memory, overheating and so on just before the next black screen then work from there.

Could be a number of things but it helps to list your device configuration. First thing I'd check for this type of symptom is making sure your power supply is sufficient. Try to borrow a quality power supply with higher wattage to see if issue goes away.
