evening folks,
i have pretty much finished my 4,1 upgrade.
running high sierra on 5,1 firmware with twin 3.3 cpus
64gb ram and 2x pci-e ssd card in slots 3 & 4.

the last is giving me issues, the pics below should show it. i can only achieve 680 on the write speed?
every other install i have seen give read and write around the 1300-1400 mark.

i have enabled trim force so its not that, the 2 pci-e are not raid 0? don't know if this makes a difference.

i know it is still pretty quick by what the old brick originally operated at but id like to squeeze everything i can out of it.
any assistance appreciated.

im not very familiar with kext files (see clueless) so if its something like that a link to an idiots guide would be welcome:)

that would explain it then:) thanks for the info.
if i were to raid0 the 2 blades am i right in thinking that would double the write speed?

Yes, for your case, the write speed should be around double, but more or less no improvement on the read speed, because slot 3 and 4 share use the same PCIe 2.0 x4 bandwidth.
