Probably. The problem is how you make this install reliable.

Someone here use a SSD7101-A with two M.2 blades and two capture cards, maybe you should ask about any potential problems.

What I was thinking is use a card with a boot screen if needed in the external slot. This way we are saving a pcie slot.

This configuration should work...


A SFF-8639 to M.2 adapter- with SFF-8639 to SFF-8643 cable.(about $40)

and a SFF-8643($40 on newegg) to PCIe 3.0 slot.
