Good afternoon,
I installed two regularly powered USB3.0 PCIe cards on my Mac Pro 5.1, but I have this problem, if I insert a usb pen or an HD I have no problem, they are seen and work properly, if I insert the usb microphone or a pad receiver .... these don't work, why?

got to ask, do they work with the usb 2 ports?

it may be as simple as there are no drivers for them in osx

may also be that there usb 2 devices, not all usb 2 devices work with usb3 ports

if you want help you also will need to say what pci usb3 card you are using, what version of osx you are on and what hardware you are using (model number etc) or no one will be able to do more than blind gess when they help

ps what is a pad receiver?

We have no idea how your 5,1 is set up. You can make a "signature" in your macrumors member profile.

My profile is below at the bottom of this post.

I dont know, not hard for you to find out just plug it in and see if it works or not.

it relay helps if you say
-what OS you are on
-what USB3 pci cards you have
-what hardware you want to use

all i know is you have a macpro 5,1 with a random usb 3 card and a Logitech F710 game controler

so all i can do is google for you, and only google the game controler

OS Support
USB TypeFull Speed, USB 1.1

but google says
you will have some luck if you want it to work
>.> so yes it can work looks like 20 mins on google will get it up and runing (maybe less)
