I have a (non Apple branded) PCIe WiFi and BT card and it is OSX compatible. The package comes with the card, WiFI antennas and cable (power?). Will this be a direct install? Before I remove the Airport Extreme card, wanted to see if there is anything else I need to do. In other words, do I need to get any adapters?

Why would you need to remove the AirPort Extreme card?
