I decided to purchase my first DSLR and had made my mind up on a D40. I ordered one via Call&Collect from my local PC World, and intended on making them price match Amazon's price of £272.
I waited in the queue for ages to be served, and once I got home I realised that he hadn't given me a D40 but a D40X instead! So I've paid £272, Nikon's £30 cashback off bring the price down to £242, and the £6 from quidco brings it down even further to £236. Not bad eh?
PC World don't even have the D40X listed on their website, so I don't think that it was the sales assistant who messed up.
