PDAnet question

I have a question regarding PDAnet. I want to purchase this but I am just weary that ATT is going to charge me for this extra data I am going to be using. I am just going to be using this for when I go to the airport and hotel's that don't offer internet. So, do you think I will get charged by iPhone for doing this or is there very little chance I will get caughtThanks!

I use it all the time, no problems here....as long as you dont go over 5 gigs in a month

Quick question, I have never understood the 5 gigs a month thing. Is it the amount of stuff you download? Like 5 gigs of downloaded programs a month? But that wouldn't make sense. Could someone help clear that up with me. So confused
