PDANET SLOW! are there any alternatives?

Using pdanet is painfully slow and it disconnects alot. Is there any way to use it without the wifi adhoc? I would like to just use the usb cable but I am on os x and there is only an option for windows. Are there any alternatives to pdanet?

check it out all you need after thats done is iTunes installed on the computer and your good 2 go!

I agree, I'd go with PDAnet if it allowed Mac users to tether via USB. But I guess we don't get that option. So I've been using the official carrier hack.
