I have a first-gen MacMini which does NOT have an internal AirPort card. I just bought a third-party USB Wi-Fi adapter; how can I go about creating the ad-hoc network necessary for tethering my (already jailbroken) iPhone using PdaNet?

AFAIK, tethering over USB is limited to Windows users, thought I'd be glad to find out if I'm wrong ;) Any other suggestions?

Again, I don't have an AirPort card installed in my Mac mini, thus don't have an Airport icon to click on. This is my stumbling block; I essentially need a way to create an ad-hoc network using my third-party Wi-Fi dongle. If anyone knows how to do this, please advise. Thanks!
