Pdanet USB Connection

Hey guys. I've got PDAnet 1.61 on my iphone and I can tether using an ad hoc network just fine. However, I cannot get the connection to transfer data via USB. I did some searching and it said I needed to set up a new ethernet interface in network preferences but I don't know how to do that so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You gotta have itunes installed on the particular computer and the desktop client installed also.

Yeah I have those. All of a sudden it just started working. I guess it just needed some time. I opened up Network Preferences and the ethernet interface was already configured. Earlier it was just all blank with a random IP address but now it sets itself up with the phone's IP address and everything. I don't know why it works now but it does so whatever.

Sometimes a reboot on both the computer and iphone after the install does the trick
