Hi all,

I've searched this forum quite a bit, but there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer (will there ever be one? :D).

Basically, I wanted a reader to read PDF books. After searching the app store, I realized a PDF read costs almost the same as the office document editing suites. If they can read PDFs and allow me to edit docs (not a big priority) then why not pay the same price or the few extra bucks.

So I've got it down to three:

1. Documents to Go (dataviz) $4.99 special price
2. QuickOffice (inc) $12.99 special price
3. Readdledocs - $4.99

Out of those three, which do you have and prefer? Do you read PDF ebooks on any of them? I guess they transfer files mostly the same, over WiFi.

Thanks for all opinions!

I also wanted an app for reading pdf books, and looked at all of them. I chose GoodReader because it is specifically for large pdf documents. It has some nice features--it can maintain the bookmarks (which not all of them do) and allows you to create your own bookmarks. Landscape and portrait modes, etc. Preserves formatting and images.

No editing ability, but that was ok with me since I wanted to download books to read not documents to edit. I downloaded a 900-page textbook and it looks great. You should check it out.

Hmm, I may have to check that out too. It's the same price as Readdledoc and Documents to go. Errr, so many choices lol
