Hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday season.

I have a few questions that I hope I can find a solution for. I have a master pdf file that I need to create a batch with unique text watermarks and security passwords. Each password and watermark is unique to the individual pdf file. I'm running 10.4.11 in case you need that info. Is it possible to do this within Adobe Acrobat Pro 8? Since I am looking at thousands of unique version of the same master pdf file I was wondering if there was an easier way than creating each file individually.

If not is this something automator can do? Pulling the passwords and watermarks from an excel document then creating each pdf using the master pdf with the data provided in the excel doc?

Thanks again.

Somebody here might have an answer, but you might try asking over at MacScripter, there's a lot of people over there who do that sort of thing. Initially it sounds a bit complicated for Automator, but an AppleScript might work, and it might not have to be ridiculously complex.

Thanks HiRez for the suggestion. Will check out the website and see if I can get anywhere.

Wondering if anyone else has any suggestions as to how to create a batch of pdf files each with a unique text watermark and security code. Thanks again, and hope all have a happy New Year.
