All, I have a couple of PDF files that when printed from my MBP in Preview or Acrobat Reader are missing some of the graphics. Sadly when printed from my PC all the graphics print fine. Both are printing to the same printer a Canon MF642Cdw. Any thoughts?

In the print options, select "Scale to Fit" and "Print Entire Image"

.. that is if your issue is that the document is cropped on print.

But maybe I misunderstood the issue. Could you be more specific on what's missing?

Thanks for the reply, tried that setting with the same result.

So only some of the graphics are missing, describing the document as best I can:

Header graphic: Prints ok
Body: Imagine it is a table, 2x2, with a graphic in the left cells and text in the right. Both of these graphics are missing, they display properly in preview and acrobat reader but do not print, the space they are in is just blank.
Footer graphic: Prints ok

I did not create the PDF so I don't know the platform or software used. I also made sure I was using the latest printer software, etc.

I've had things like this happen in the past with various non-Adobe PDF readers but never with Adobe Reader. Are you running the lastest version of Adobe Reader on your Mac?

@yellow8 do you mean export to pdf? Inside preview there is no option to print to pdf as it is already a pdf.

@mj_ Yes, I was not using acrobat reader until this issue and downloaded it from Adobe yesterday.

Yes you can print to PDF, it's actually not the same as save as to PDF and the results might be interesting.
Print the document, and in the options, you can see that:

So I'm an idiot! I downloaded what I thought was the adobe reader from the App Store but it was not. I have since deleted that app and downloaded acrobat reader directly from adobe and it prints A-OK! Thanks to all who replied and @mj_ who had the solution.
