PDF in mail.... Issue

I opened a PDF in my mail box now i am stuck in the PDF and can not get back into my mail box... What can I do.......

I've had this happen. Where a PDF opens and the controls at the top won't appear when I touch the screen. I had to turn off the iPad to get out. Then I just never reopened the PDF in mail.

Yes that is exactly what has happened..


Turning off and back on again now....


No still stuck.....

I assume, you meant "Now still stuck", have you really restarted the iPad, not just put it to sleep?
You need to hold down the "power" button for more than five seconds to actually turn it off.

Ok rebooting...



Yes... phew scared for a minute there...

Force quit an app but holding the power button until the slide to power off slider appears, then pressing and holding home until the app closes.
