PDF mark up information for iPad?

Is anyone finding any good information on book and pdf annotation for the iPad yet?

If it allows a simple highlight and note system like i currently use in preview for the millions of pdfs i go through a year, it looks like a must purchase. If not... well, not.

Also, has anyone seen information on annotation for books bought in the store? Can i scribble in those margins too?

I'm sure with the easier to access file system there will be an 'app for that' at some point. Would make sense and would be something I would be interested in as well.
