I've had Adobe CS3 Designs Premium installed on my computer for about a month, and as of a week or two ago, my PDF Print Driver is nowhere to be found. I tried re-installed Acrobat Pro, but that didn't help. Acrobat Distiller functions normally and I could just print to postscript and convert to PDF in distiller every time but that can become a headache. Does anyone know how to retrieve my PDF Printer?

Have you tried adding it through the Print & Fax area of the System Preferences?

Two things:
  • As IgnatiusTheKing suggested, you have to use Printer Setup Utility to setup the Adobe PDF print driver after you install it.
  • The Adobe PDF print driver is installed with Adobe Distiller. It does a beautiful job generating PDFs--most of the time. However, if you absolutely positively must produce the best possible PDF file, then you should print the job to PostScript (Save PDF as PostScript) and then use Adobe Distiller to distill the resulting .ps file into PDF.
