Peacock TV has officially launched. My experience was being able to create an account on iPadOS and link it to my Xfinity service successfully. However, the same login credentials don't work on the Apple TV app. Also, like with Xfinity Stream, there is no Airplay support on The iPad app. User hostile as always.

So Calif
I am streaming to a Mac.
After successful login to a free account, it won't let me watch anything - full length.

I can only see & hear the trailers and previews only:

Same problem with Apple TV login. Login works fine on web and iOS, but not Apple TV.

I signed up (free version) via my Apple TV and it has worked great since first day. My only complaint is that I can't find a setting to stop auto play of the next episode. I'm in Thailand and use DNS, my friend complained that he couldn't use VPN to get Peacock to work.

My experience - signed up for the premiere tier which I thought would do away with 'ads' and 'commercials'. Ads for TV and movies continued to stream for up to a minute at the beginning of shows w/o ability to fast forward - have to quit the movie, then restart (work around - yeah, OK), then then 10-15 minutes into the show, another ad halts the story line. Confirmed premier account. 'Chat' took 15 min to connect to non-bot and that person simply copied and pasted the company line about ads and commercials. A no-go; canceled until Peacocktv grows up. In time for the 'free' offer - just hope they don't charge my card after cancelation.

I was only interested in Peacock for the early access to Jimmy Fallon, and since it’s not there yet I felt the launch was a bust.

But I didn’t realize they were putting premier league on peacock so I’ll keep it installed for now. Hopefully it remains free for Xfinity subscribers indefinitely.

I downloaded the app on my atv 4K, latest tvOS, and the app just crashes to the home screen. I don’t get past the logo. Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled. Same results.

I was not able to log in to Peacock on my Apple TV after having created an account on my iPhone. I use the iPhone as an Apple TV remote, and used the password auto fill from the Apple’s Keychain. No go. It turns out, for whatever reasons, the Apple TV Peacock app’s password box gets an extra character at the end of filled out password. Once I removed it, I was able to log in.
