I love making notes with my pencil 2 in GoodNotes. The iPP 11 in this setup is an extremely compact package because I don't need a keyboard. However, my pencil has started disconnecting even while writing. It's doing this more and more frequently, several times per day. When I attach it, the "Apple Pencil" pop-up appears, but it keeps blinking instead of showing the battery percentage (which is a confirmation that it's connected). I need to revert to severe measures to make it reconnect: reboot with the pencil attached, or switch off Bluetooth and switch it on again with the pencil attached.

I called the shop where I bought it (a brick&mortar one, exactly for this reason). They told me to come in so that we can debug if the problem is the pencil or the iPad. Knowing my luck, it will work and continue working when I'm in the shop.

Has anybody ever had this sort of behaviour? Any tips on resetting the pencil in another way?

Well, for me it disconnects and refuses to connect several times a day now. I guess it isn’t normal and I’ll have to visit the shop. Thanks for your answer!

After testing in the shop, it turns out the problem is the pencil. It also disconnected in exactly the same way from a 13” iPP demo unit. Since it's a reseller, they have to send it in. But at least there's some progress!
