Hi all!
If you're looking for something new to try, I recently released a new version of my game, Penguin Panic.
Get it here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/penguin-panic/id363780893?mt=8
"I'm not convinced", I hear you say... "Don't you have a video or something so I can see what it's all about?"
BAM! Done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3fS5rvFSdE
The object of the game is to avoid getting hit by the icicles by tilting the device to make your penguin friend slide out of the way. Watch out for other obstacles and 6 different "powerup" snowflakes.
I actually first wrote this game back in early 2008, before the app store was released. It was one of the first 3rd party native games ever. It was available via "Installer" for the jailbreak community on devices running 1.x.x. It was actually pretty popular at the time. Unfortunately, when June rolled around and the official App SDK was released, no one was interested in pre-2.0 jailbreak apps anymore. I had just reached a fairly busy point in my life and I didn't have time to rewrite Penguin Panic for the official App Store, so I just left it on the back-burner for a while. Well, after 2 years of putting it off, I finally got around to rewriting it in proper form and re-introducing it to the world
. If you get a chance, please check it out and let me know what you think.
Thanks! Kyle
