Penryn makes an appearance in Israel

Penryn, the successor to Merom, 45 nm shrink, and improvement on the Intel Core microarchitecture has shown up in Israel.

Hope for a quad-core laptop or iMac at MWSF 2008.

Can anyone else dig up some speculation?

I never knew Intel (Integrated Electronics) was multi national. I thought it was soley American engineering and construction.

Assembly plant in Israel and engineering there also. The next four generations of chips coming from the new plant.

(if the terrorists dont target the plant that is!)
