if there's any fellow working in music production, what do you think of the m1 pro ?

i may be nuts ,but i find my mba m1 to sound much better ,for what i listen at least .

sure the 16 has way more bass and the spacialisation is better

however it feels way too bassy ,like artifically.never seen anything with such a bassy curve ,even with headphones that usally boost bass

listening to classical music is horrible ,the violons and high pitch is bad .

you can always adjust the EQ. however whenever i playback my own violin playing i wear a headphone anyway, and the 3.5 jack on the pro is a much higher impedance.
which eq do u recommend ?
i tried booom 3d and its not bad . but i still find it very bassy ,i gotta try some other profiles .

For a professional calibration of your speakers or one calibrated to your specific headphones you can use SoundID Reference:

I don't use the built-in speakers honestly, I don't trust them for critical listening. I use a pair of studio monitors (Genelec 8330A) or headphones (Sennheiser HD600) paired with and audio interface.

I'm no audiophile, nor do I work in the industry, but my uneducated opinion is that they're excellent speakers - probably the best laptop speakers out on the market
