A new feature in Lion that has been announced is very big win for me:
This will mean nothing if you have only one Mac, but for multiple Mac environments (such as mine) it means the ability to access other Macs remotely without having to disturb any current usage. Before one was limited to ssh, but now the GUI can always be used.
For the record, this has always been a capability of the XWindows windowing system in Unix/Linux, and is only available in Windows on Windows Server. But it will be in all Lion systems.
Per-user screen sharing
You can remotely log in to a Mac with any user account on that computer and control it, without interrupting someone else who might be using the computer under a different login
