Has anyone tried running multiple virtual machines on these guys yet? I'm looking to run base installs of different OS's for my InfoSec classes. I'm really just testing different security configurations nothing fancy.

I'm looking at the 11.6/1.4/4gb of ram. Most of the time I'm only running 2 Virtual machines, just want to know if it can handle them.

I've seen some people have got win7 to run which is cool but the second os running is critical in this scenario.

What are the specs of the machine you are using right now that you use to run two vm's?

I've got a iMac 2.8ghz i5 with 8gb. I'm looking for something portable that I can bring with me and use while I'm away from the iMac and the 11.6 is just right for that.

Thats why I'm looking for some help on if the 11.6 will do what I'm looking for. The iMac can all the intense stuff I don't need on the road.

Well if you only need let's say 1gb of ram fro each vm and you have two running I think it should be fine. You will still have <2gb of ram for Osx which is enough to keep it running. Are they process intense apps your using in your vm's?

I would make sure you get 4 GB machine. Keep in mind that VMs start up very fast with SSD, so if you do not need to run them concurrent, shut em down.
