I'm looking at two completely different machines right now, a Mac Mini and a Mac Pro.
The pro will be used or the mini will be new. It'll be about a $300-$500 difference between the prices of the computers.
I'm a photographer and I need something for photoshop, but the real kicker is the 30" monitor I'm using. I have an HP 30" monitor with a 2560x1600 resolution. When I have a 15" unibody MBP, performance kind of sucked at that resolution. I don't know if it was because of the crappy dual link HDMI connector or what, but even running photoshop was a chore. Will that mini be able to handle it or should I look for a used pro? The down side of the pro would be having two huge computer towers sitting next to my desk since I already have a large Wintel machine.
