I'm about to change service provider, meaning I will need to give back my old SIM - with all my contact on it, meaning I should probably make sure they make it to my new SIM, when I receive it.

Using a Windows computer, what is your best suggestion?

I don't use Outlook, Mobile Me, and stuff like that, only my Gmail - and Microsoft Exchange for Calendar Sync.

Doing a Google Contacts sync wipes my current iPhone Contacts, from what I gather, and I'm not exactly keen on doing just that.

I use the iPhone app TrueSwitch Mobile Sync to sync my contacts with gmail. It doesn't wipe any contacts, it just adds new iPhone contacts to gmail and vice versa.

My service provider is none of the parties listed on the site, so I don't think it works for me.

Also, I'm running Windows Vista, for what it's worth.

I don't know what the list on their site is for. you can download the app (free) from the appstore and it connects with gmail and syncs your contacts. You don't need your computer and the provider shouldn't matter as long as you have a data plan for the phone.

It doesn't show up in my App search ("TrueSwitch"). Maybe it isn't available in the Danish store.
