Hi everyone, I'm curious how old your iphone X was in terms of time between production week and purchase date. I bought an iPhone X on April 9 from a retail store and its serial number indicates production week 50 (2017). I did not expect my iPhone X to be produced last year, when buying in April. I used this website to check: https://sndeep.info/en

I also checked the serial number of a newly bought iphone 6S by a friend from the Apple Store, and his production week was week 5. Making his iPhone 6S 'only' two months old.

What are your thoughts about this issue? Is there any reason to be suspicious or should I not worry about anything? Thanks in advance!!

If the phone works fine and has no issues then I wouldn't be concerned about a production week
I would only check on something like that in an extreme situation where I was having serious problems and they could be tied to a certain manufacturing flaw during a specific time
