First, yes, i 100% know this is a beta, but something tells me, apple will be implementing this feature the way it is. I setup a ton of great personal automations to execute recently and every single time i expect it to run automated, it doesn't. Then when i pickup my phone, there are notifications that tell me the automation wants to run, but it requires me to press RUN first. So at first, i thought, fine, must have something to do with not being able to execute without me logging into the phone first, so i decided to remove my password completely, and come to find out, same behavior.

Am i doing something wrong? What is the point of automations if it requires manual intervention everytime?? Do i have a setting off, or something?

thanks
MD

I am wondering the same.

Did you remove the phone unlock password?

The only personal automation that is working for me is one for the music app. I open an URL upon launching the app to go to a genre. And turns out that when you bring the app to foreground it triggers the automation every single time. As if I launched the app

I have the same question. I’d like to set it up so that wifi turns off when I leave home and on when I return - AUTOMATICALLY without me touching the phone. At the moment it doesn’t seem possible. I have a shortcut switching it on and off but need to touch to run which isn’t the way I need it to work.
