Other Personal hotspot fails to reconnect to MBP

Hi,

I got my Iphone xs max a few days ago and i have had lots of issues with the personal hotspot.
I enable it and can connect to it the first time by writting the password.
Then when my MBP goes to sleep and i wake it up it refueses to connect to my iphone. Sometimes it does not evenfind the hotspot.

I was using Note8 before and it worked flawlesly so i know its works well with the MBP and the only component that has change is the phone. I use the latest software on both phone and laptop.

Any one else having this issue?

Can someone from Apple assist? Is this a known problem in the phone or ios12?

I am on the Xs and I can't connect to my hotspot at all. I keep getting an error saying that it's the wrong password even though I know it's correct.

I cant say for sure but i made a "reset network settings" and now i can find the hotspot more reliably (for now anyway).
Its a new phone so its strange i had to do that.
