iPhone X personal hotspot I phone x and MacBook 12 not connecting

My new I phone x which is 5 s-=days old has stopped connecting to MB 12 for why I don't know ? Worked OK until now also both WiFi and 4G signal strength has dropped on I phone x yet stayed same on Macbook 12
Tried resetting network, all settings and no avail - any ideas - iPhone X 256 gB in uk
