FYI,

from powerybase.com:

We often need something to remind ourselves -- everybody has some sort of reminder, alarm, to-do list or simple notes. Unfortunately, iPhone applications can only work within their so called "sandbox", so they don't have any access to system-wide notifications. If you had ever wanted a real reminder, the only way would have been to use the integrated Apple Calendar, a way too robust and complicated application for quick on-the-go usage and simple daily reminders. Calendar is not the only option anymore in the new firmware 3.0.

NotifyMe is a minimalistic, simple and fast Push-based reminder. Launch the application, type your short reminder right on the first screen, set the time (and category, if you want), save it and you're done.
