Personal site for a friend

My buddy wanted to create his own website. I told him I could help him out since he isn't really design/web savvy. Here is what I came up with

I thought I'd stay very simple because it sort of reflects the content he will put on there. Let me know of any suggestions or comments you might have about it.

looks clean. the only thing i might change is to bold the words in your top navigation. either way it looks good, nice work.

I think it looks good, maybe a bit too iWebby though.

The problem with all this Web 2.0 design is that the internet is starting to look like it is all from the same template.
