Personal Webpage on .mac

I just recently purchased a .mac subscription and was making my own webpage. I'm not actually using iWeb to create my site, it's done in flash, but i was wondering how to actually get it up onto the webspace .mac provides?

I've logged in on the .mac site and tried to go to my webspace, and then "advanced" tab which takes me to my "sites" folder on my computer. However, there's nothing listed there for me to select and upload. I've got stuff in my sites folder (.htm, .fla, .swf) but none are shown in that list of stuff to upload.

Am i going about this the wrong way?

as an aside, does this webspace support php?

To upload files to your homepage, connect to iDisk in the Finder (Shift-Control I).

Then move the files to the Sites folder in your iDisk.

.Mac does not support PHP. Only normal HTML pages.

just a couple more questions ...

what's the difference between the sites folder on the root of my iDisk and the sites folder in iDisk/Web/Sites ?

is the one in the Web directory the only one that gets published? and the other "sites" folder on the root just a working directory and storage, etc. ??

The Web folder is accessed through web.mac.com/yourusername.
iWeb uses this folder to create pages.

The Sites folder is accessed through homepage.mac.com/yourusername.
The .Mac Homepage feature uses this folder to create pages.

is there a reason for the 2 different locations of storing websites? seems rather odd to me ...
