Perspective in Illustrator

Hi,

I have some 2D graphics (mainly lines) that I want to look more 3D like, so they have perspective. When I use the extrude and bevel (effect> 3D) I don't get the results I wanted i.e it becomes too distorted.

I've attached a image of what I want to achieve, but I will be using 2D lines and I don't want to add any 'height', just perspective (one point).

Any chance you're using CS5?

It now has a great Perspective Grid

Isn't that image from vectortuts? From a tutorial telling you how to do this?
