Then don't. If you don't want to do something, why are you asking others to persuade you?

Just don't.

well, thats not very helpful... i haven't used iOS 7 since beta 1... so is there anything really spectacular in iOS 7 i should upgrade for?

Did you like anything about iOS 7? There hasn't been anything added from the beta to what's available except for some bug fixes and such. 7.1 is supposed to bring a few features, but we don't know until it's officially released.

Assuming if you jailbreak (considering this is in the jailbreak area.) Why not stick with 6.1.2 that the jailbreak is fully established for? iOS7 support has just begun and isn't fully supported by Cydia even since that needs to be patched up as well.

The only really compelling feature that I find in iOS 7 is really control center, infinite apps in folder, and infinite tabs in safari (of which, I all had access with my iOS 6 jailbreak)

Oh, and you can't forget a few of those pesky apps that won't install unless you have iOS 7

well i do like iOS 7 because it looks new and fresh. but is there a treat or theme that takes away the whiteness yet?

I don't know for sure since a very good portion of the tweaks aren't supported yet, I doubt Winterboard is ready since Saurik was caught off guard with the early release without much testing, but in iOS 7.1 it'll bring the dark theme which would be my preference.

I was on the same boat as you and the fact is that dev's will release updated versions for ios7 so might as well update anyway. Wether one likes it or not, the truth is that you need to move forward and better do it while the update window is open

well, i will be getting the iPhone 6, so i only have to wait about 9 and a half months, and i will have iOS 8, so i think i can hang with iOS 6 and maybe if 7.1 is jailbrekable, then i will update. as of now, i guess i will stay. i'm not missing any apps, because all my devices are on 6.1.2, 6.1.5 or 5.1.1, so i don't notice anything. i guess if theres an app i desperately need, i will update then.

We can't decide what's best for you in terms of your user experience with apple. If you want to upgrade or don't want to upgrade that is up to you. You need to work out for yourself. Having us tell you what to do and then you regreting the upgrade later, will not work well.

Stay on ios6 if that makes you happy. But don't upgrade because you feel that you have to and then complain about it later, because all in all that's what's been happening generally on forums I have been reading and then some people blame apple because they think ios7 is ****! :p

Good luck! :)

*gives u a hug**

How about wait until 7.1 is released? If it patches the JB, then upgrade while the 7.0 window is still open.

You might as well move forward, a lot of apps will require 7.0 and it will only be a matter of weeks before all your favorite tweaks will be updated.

You could always theme away from the default look but to me it sounds like you're afraid of change.

Stay i would say. I am on even older 5.1.1 and run in lot of app upgrade issues all the time. But i have super stable jailbreak working with more than 30 tweaks so i am scared losing those things which make my iPhone experience even better.
I am going to wait and hopefully will not regret if ever the window of upgrading closes before i could catch the bus.

Btw i did update my iPad 2 to iOS 7 yesterday mostly because it had very less tweaks installed and i was ready to take the risk with it (but not with my primary phones).
