phishing window?

Today started getting a window appearing on screen (not in browser window)"Check for upgrade" "There is a new version ready for you to download", with radio buttons: Remind Me Later, and Download. Nothing to indicate what this is in regards to though, so I've been hitting the RML radio button, just to get it off screen. I'm a careful surfer, and it's unlikely that anyone else has used my Mac recently. Anyone run into something similar lately?
