It's the times we live in. People have smartphones, and some people like to video everything. I've seen it at concerts...people videoing the event rather than enjoying it.
I have caught myself doing that sometimes, sometimes when I film I watch whatever I'm filming and have the phone screen in the corner of my eye. I mostly cut way down on the filming though.
