Phone app and Contacts app grow in size indefinetly

Hello,

I noticed the size of the phone app (and the contacts app too) is out of hand. Right now it is at 500Mb, but I've seen people mention going up to 3Gb.
I also noticed every time when I open a contact with a poster image set, the phone app size grow by a few megabytes with no limit.

This must surely be a bug, but can you check if you notice the same issue so I can rule out my device please?

Most of my apps got completely out of hand with updating to iOS 17 on my 14 Pro, the remedy was to un-install & re-install for ones that I could. Even then some the apps would still continue to grow with use, there must be some sort of bug going on in iOS 17. For example, my phone app was 3.4 GB after the update...

Though on my new phone (with a clean restore from iCloud backup) it seems to be better, though still not what it was pre iOS 17.
