It used to be that when I was on a call on the iPhone 11 Pro and the screen was off, anything that activated the screen (e.g., a tap on the screen or pressing the power button) brought up the phone call UI rather than the normal lock screen. Now, activating the screen brings up the normal lock screen with a green indicator in the upper left that a phone call is ongoing. Tapping that brings up the phone call UI. That’s clunky, because if I’m on a call and I activate the screen, it’s usually to get at the phone call UI to mute/unmute or to hang up. But now it’s a multi-step process to get there. Is there a setting to put it back? I have tried turning off the new iOS 14 setting for reducing incoming calls to banners (which I like), but that doesn’t affect it; nor should it, since it’s a different concept.

Thanks. Good idea. Just did. Although I suspect it was intentional. Feels like they think it’s a feature not a bug.

Genuinely fantastic change and I hope it’s NOT a bug.

Thanks Apple !! iOS14 shaping up to be amazing.
