I wear my APM at my desktop working. iPhone is nearby. I dial a call using Contacts app on my Mac. Call seems to dial. Sometimes it goes through on my APM. Sometimes on my iPhone. Sometimes it seems to be dialling but no sound anywhere. Sometimes using Siri to dial a call works, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes a call comes through with loud volume in the APM and I can’t adjust the volume controls on either the phone or the Mac (volume button on the APM works). I thought this would be seamless?

It’s a mess. Especially with a Mac in the mix, I have the exact same experience as you describe. I hope that Apple will patch it.

This is why I set my APM to only automatically connect when last connected to that same device. I just switch manually. It only takes a second.

Seems like APM does a good job switching between iOS devices. It does an only OK job switching between my 2015 Mac and my iPhone and iPad though.

Yeah, it just doesn't work; if anything it (at least for me) keeps on disconnecting from the device that I'm actually using, and never switches to the right one when I need it to.

I've setup a keyboard shortcut to get my Mac to quickly reconnect to them.
