earth, for now.
Curious if anyone knows of an application that will allow the iPad user to use the iPad to call landline/mobile numbers? Free of course... but paid apps are welcomed.

What about Skype, VoIP...any others?!

I know there are apps that will allow you to Text cellphones, free, without having a txt plan, or even a Cellular connection. Text+ I have on my iPod touch and works great. Just looking for an app that will allow voice data over 3G or WiFi to landline/mobile numbers.

I did a search for "Phone call" and it resulted in no queries. Any help would be pleasant.

Long Live the iPad.

Search VoIP iPad. Not phone calls.

Skype app is a free download, but you have to buy Skype credit to call landlines. It's only pennies a minute, though, even to call internationally to most countries. At present only works over wi-fi, but is supposed to work over 3G sometime soon.
