phone contacts not showing in iphone 5s

Hi, I have transferred my contacts from my old samsung phone to my new iphone 5s using the apple app. The ones that were on my sim appear if I want to text but not if I want to call on the phone, any suggestions on how to get them to appear in phone contacts? Thank you

iPhone won't save contacts into SIM card. I'm afraid you have to resort to the help of third-party software.

Thanks Ivan I saved them to my samsung handset before i transferred the data and the contacts are in my iphone if I want to message but not to make a call!

Are there perhaps groups in your contacts and you have to select the right group?
