Phone crashes everytime i try to type

Hey guys,

This is on a 3g phone, not jail broken or anything.

This problem started yesterday. Every time i try to type anywhere (browser, email, text, app store, etc...) the phone just crashes back to the main screen. Even when trying to make a new contact the phone just crashes back to the main screen.

Has anyone ever experienced this? anyone ever fix it? any advice?

Hi,

got a new iphone 3g over christmas and it's also got something wrong with it, but not the same thing. Mine just randomly freezes for about a minute. Happens about 5 times a day. I'm on 2.2 and haven't installed any additional apps so i'm guessing its just a buggy os?

Hope someone can help you with your problem, just though i'd let you know you are not alone!

Apologies if you already have, but perhaps try turning off the phone, then on again twice?

This very thing has been happening to me as well - - it's not always consistent with it though. 3G phone and it's only 35 days out of the box (new). Sometimes it will also say 'server can not connect'. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
