Phone does not work after Jailbreaking 2.1 on 2g

I just currently jailbroke my 2g iphone on the fw 2.1..
everything works great except i cant make calls.

I actually bought the phone from my friend, and I have AT&T but it isnt recognizing AT&T services...

please help?
