Hi. My sister hates forums, so I'm looking for answers for her. About two hours ago she began receiving phone calls from all over the US, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, California, New Jersey, and a few others. They were all numbers she was unfamiliar with, they all left messages saying she had called them and were returning their call. She had not called any of them. Some of them knew her name, which is especially disconcerting. She answered one call, and the guy on the other end said she had called him and he was returning her call.

She has received over sixty such calls in the last ninety minutes. I advised her to contact her carrier and find out if any of these calls had actually been logged on her phone, that result is not known yet.

Any ideas gang? I appreciate any help whatsoever. Have a great day.

Spammers, scammers doing callerID spoofing... Phishing... Just 'cuz your phone rings doesn't mean you have to answer it...
