Is anyone else having this issue, when i reboot or sometimes want to download an app, i keep getting asked for my itunes/app store password even though it shows im already logged in. So annoying!

its like a little window that pops up, i also think i have 3 corrupted video/music files that aren't downloading properly from the itunes store, but deleting them doesn't help.

I think this might happens when some or few of your downloaded apps are with different Apple IDs. Which model you are using btw...?

Iphone 6s plus 128 gb, only used 1 account on it, was fine on my iphone 6

Settings/App and iTunes Store/Password Settings. You can select when the phone will ask for a password. I'm pretty sure that the default is to always require, and to require password on free downloads, but you can easily change it.

^^^This.

It's a feature, not a bug. What happens if someone steals your phone or someone gets a hold of it? Do you want them downloading paid apps on the App store that go to your credit card with impunity? Because they don't have to enter a password to download?

Security.

But as said, you can turn it off (Never Ask) if you like.

You are not alone...this is a basic flaw in the OS...its sad that unlike the Mac...no one makes a utility application for the iPhone. I have the same problem, over and over and over and over again.

What flaw? Seems like there's something off with your device/account as most people aren't experiencing this kind of thing.

"something wrong" Wow...an amazing analysis.....and of the millions of people with this device...you can say "most...thing" do you work for Apple...if not..then you don't know about most people.

If this was some wort of a widespread issue, especially an ongoing one, you could bet that there would be many ongoing discussions about it in places like this one.

You appear to have an issue, and there are likely some others that might be experiencing it or have experienced it (or might experience it), but that in and by itself doesn't make it some sort of a "flaw in the OS".
