phone keeps trying to reboot but fails

WHen attempting to install the new jailbreak it stuck at the apple logo. This was a sign that the installation failed. I tried followed the steps to get the phone back on the 1.1.3 jailbreak instructions. I used classic ibrick to downgrade to 1.0.2, and followed instructions now my phone is in an endless rebooting cycle, so I put it in recovery mode, and now when i restore it does not install new firmware, it just has an error. I'm afraid my phone is cooked. Any ideas?

Ugh -- I'm in the same boat. OHMYGOD, what have I done....

I got through step 24 when the phone started endlessly rebooting.
